Netissä tienaajan pikaopas
Aikaisemmassa postauksessa julkaisimme kattavan oppaan netissä tienaajalle, kaikki alusta loppuun -
tässä on pikaopas, jolla pääset käyntiin välittömästi
Kyseessä on siis Paid To Click (”PTC”). Se ei tosiaan vaadi erityisiä taitoja tai rahan sijoittamista. Kuka hyvänsä voi tehdä sitä.
1) kirjaudu sivustoille
Tehokkuusperiaate: käytä aina samaa aliasta ja salasanaa jokaisella sivustolla johon kirjaudut. Näin työn aloittaminen vie mahdollisimman vähän aikaa.
2) Aloitus
- Menee ensimmäiseen sivustoon ja klikkaa eka mainos auki.Yleensä mainoksen on oltava auki 30 sek ennenkuin saat korvauksen mainoksen “katsomisesta”. Yleensä klikkauksesta avautuu uusi välilehti, jolle mainos latautuu, ja sen yläreunaan kehys, jossa PTC sivuston laskuri alkaa tikittämään alaspäin. Kun 30 sek on kulunut, tulee yleensä teksti että olet saanut korvauksen. Tämän jälkeen voit avata uuden mainoksen samalta sivustolta. Voit tarkistaa rahojen kertymisen profiilistasi (yleensä alla “my account”, “my stats” jne.).

Mainoksia on aina rajallinen määrä, riippuen siitä, että kuinka paljon kyseisellä sivustolla on mainostajia asiakkaanaan. Kun olet valmis, voit tarkistaa kertyneen rahan määrän kultakin sivustolta.
- Käy läpi sama rutiini seuraavana päivänä. Ja sitä seuraavana. Sivustot antavat yleensä klikata samaa mainosta uudelleen seuraavana päivänä. Rahamäärä, jonka voit tienata yhdessä päivässä voi vaikuttaa todella pieneltä, vaikka työstäisit montaa sivustoa kerralla. Kurinalaisella työskentelyllä ja tehokkalla rutiinilla on kuitenkin mahdollista ansaita noin 50 USD kuukaudessa, työskennellen vain muutaman minuutin päivässä. Suuremmat tulot on mahdollista saavuttaa referraalien kautta. Tämä selostetaan seuraavaksi.

Aloittajan opas verkossa ansaitsemiseen ilman sijoittamista tai pääoman tarvetta

Onko verkossa mahdollista ansaita rahaa helposti ja nopeasti?
Netti on täynnä lupauksia helposta rahasta. Tuskin on vaikeaa nähdä, että lupaukset, jotka vaikuttavat olevan “liian hyvää ollakseen totta”, yleensä ovatkin juuri sitä ja useimmiten kytköksissä johonkin, joka sinulta rahallista panostusta. Monet nettisivut haluavat paljastaa sinulle uskomattoman metodin, jonka avulla joku sattumanvarainen henkilö on vaurastunut netissä omaamatta mitään sen kummempaa kokemusta tai taitoja. Kummallisempaa on, että miksi joku joka on keksinyt tavan rikastua tarvitsisi juuri sinun tai jonkun muun muutamaa kymmentä taalaa.
Onko kaikki netissä huijausta? Vastaus on ei. Vain noin 99% on huijausta.
Tässä manuaalissa tutustutaan toimintaan, jota usein kutsutaan lyhenteellä Paid To Click (”PTC”). Se on hyvä lähtökohta, koska se ei tosiaan vaadi erityisiä taitoja tai rahan sijoittamista. Kuka hyvänsä voi tehdä sitä.

Mitä on "Buksaus" / PTC (Paid To Click)?
PTC tai Paid to Click liittyy mainostamisen muotoon, jossa mainostajat maksavat siitä, että verkossa surffaavat ihmiset klikkaavat tai käyvät katsomassa heidän mainoksiaan. Mainostajat siis maksavat mainostensa näkyvyydestä internetissä. Mittarina toimii yleensä klikkaukset – näin ollen yhdestä klikkauksesta maksetaan tietty hinta. Joskus mainostajat maksavat vain mainoksen katsomisesta, mutta myös esim kyselyiden täyttämisestä ja sähköpostilistoille ilmoittautumisesta maksetaan. Tässä oppaassa keskitytään kuitenkin ansaitsemiseen mainoksia klikkaamalla (Paid To Click eli PTC).
Tavallinen internertin käyttäjä voi siis liittyä sivustoille, jotka maksavat mainosten katsomisesta. Nämä PTC sivustot toimivat ikäänkuin välikätenä mainostajille: mainostajat maksavat heille että heidän mainoksiaan näkevät tuhannet ihmiset, ja sivusto taas maksaa katsojille. Korvaus on yleensä senteissä tai senttien osissa (USD) per klikkaus.
Tässäkin asiassa on syytä muistaa, että aina tulisi olla varovainen henkilökohtaisten tietojen antamisessa netissä. On erittäin vaikeaa arvioida osapuolen luotettavuutta, jota ei henkilökohtaisesti tunne. Tästä lisää myöhemmin. PTC sivustot voidaan jakaa kahteen kategoriaan: (1) ”Bux” tai ”Mini PTC” sivustot (maksavat senteissä), ja (2) ”Aurora” sivustot (maksu senttien osissa per klikkaus).
Nyt herääkin kysymys, että miksi vaivautua kirjautumaan sivustoille ja klikkailemaan, jos kerran kertakorvaus on niin huono. Tuntipalkan näkökulmasta tulos on kehno. On selvää, että buksauksella ei rikastu, mutta oikealla menetelmällä ja tehokkaalla rutiinilla on mahdollista päästä hyvään kuukaisittaiseen lisätuloon. Jos esittelet uusia jäseniä sivustoille (ns. Referraalit – näistä lisää myöhemmin), voivat tulosi nousta jopa satoihin US dollareihin kuukaudessa. Tämän tavoitteen saavuttaminen vie tosin paljon aikaa.
Yleisesti ottaen Aurora sivustot ovat luotettavampia kuin muut, koska ne saavat parempaa voittoa mainoksista. Näin ollen heidän taloustilanteensa on yleensä parempi kuin “bux” sivustoilla, ja näin ollen ne eivät aivan niin herkästi joudu tilanteeseen, jossa eivät voi maksaa jäsenilleen. Monet ”bux” sivustot ovat ajautuneet huijarin rooliin. Usein tämä johtuu pelkästään siitä, että kokemattomat omistajat eivät kykene pyörittämään toimintaa voitollisesti.

Kuinka pääsen mahdollisimman hyvään lopputulokseen tekemättä turhaa työtä?
Pitkällä aikavälillä oikea työskentelytapa on erittäin tärkeä. Korvaus per klikkaus on todella pieni, joten homma kannattaa ainoastaan, jos käytät siihen päivittäin vain muutaman minuutin.
Tässä koko homma askel askeleelta.
(1) Pyhitä oma nettiselain tähän työhön
Kannattaa ehdottomasti omistaa oma selaimensa tähän työhön. Käytät siis tiettyä selainta vain ja ainoastaan tähän työhön. Kaikki muu surffaaminen, sähköpostin luku ja muut asiat teet toisella selaimella. Tämä on tarpeen tehokkuus- ja tietoturvallisuussyistä. Muista myös pitää palomuuri ja virustorjunta päivitettynä.
Hyvä selain tähän hommaan on SRWare Iron. Se perustuu Googlen Chrome-selaimeen ja se on optimoitu parhaan turvallisuuden ja yksityisyydensuojan takaamiseksi. Voit ladata sen täältä koneellesi:
Voit myös yhtähyvin käyttää vaikkapa Mozilla Firefoxia tai Google Chromea.
(2) Luo uusi sähköpostitili
Tarvitset myös uuden sähköpostitilin, jonka voit pyhittää tähän työhön. Gmail on ehkä paras vaihtoehto tähän tarkoitukseen.
Älä luo sähköpostiosoitetta omalla nimelläsi, tyyliin jaakko.verkkola@gmail.com. Käytä sen sijaan aliasta, esim ansaitsija@gmail.com. Muuta myös ”Nick” eli lempinimi Gmailin asetuksissa siten, että se näyttää aina ”ansaitsija”, eikä omaa nimeäsi.
Luo vaikkapa Notepad tai Word dokumentti, ja talleta se Windowsin työpöydälle. Kirjoita siihen ylös tämä uusi sähköpostiosoitteesi ja sen salasana. Voit sitten kerätä tähän samaiseen dokumenttiin kaikki tähän projektiin liittyvät tiedot, jotka sinun tarvitsee muistaa.
(3) Luo PayPal ja AlertPay tilit
Jotta voit kotiuttaa ansaitsemasi rahat tarvitset PayPal ja AlertPay tilit. Jotkin PTC sivustot hyväksyvät molemmat, jotkin jommankumman.
Nämä palvelut mahdollistavat maksujen ja rahasiirtomääräysten tekemisen internetissä. Voit ajatella ne pankkitileinä, joilla ei ole numeroa – sen sijaan ilmoittamasi referenssisähköpostiosoite toimii tilin tunnisteena.
Normaalin tilin avaaminen palveluissa on ilmasta. Kytke tilit luomaasi Gmail osoitteeseen (askel 2). Tämän osoitteen annat siis aikanaan PTC sivustoille, jotka sen perusteella voivat sitten maksaa sinulle. Jotkut sivustot pyytävät osoitteen jäseneksi rekisteröitymisen yhteydessä, jotkut vasta sitten kun on aika kotiuttaa rahaa.
PayPal-tililtä on mahdollista maksaa suoraan monissa verkkokaupoissa. AlertPay on harvinaisempi, mutta voit joka tapauksessa siirtää rahaa normaalille pankkitilillesi näistä palveluista.
(4) Rekisteröidy PTC sivustoille
Nyt on aika liittyä sivustoihin.

Täytä rekisteröitymislomake (yleensä kohdan ”register” tai ”join” alla). Usein sivustot eivät kysy henkilökohtaisia tietoja, kuten nimeä ja syntymäaikaa. Jos ne kysyvät (kuten BluClicks tekee), mieti tarkasti, että haluatko antaa oikeat henkilötietosi tuntemattomalle taholle netissä. Tämä altistaa sinut henkilötietovarkaudelle. Vaikka sivusto olisi luotettava, niin kuinka hyvin he ovat suojautuneet tietomurtoja vastaan. Et voi tietää vastauksia.
Parasta on toimiminen pelkällä nickillä, ja monet sivustot toimivat juuri näin. Se on turvallisinta. Käytä nyt siis samaa aliasta kaikilla sivustoilla, johon kirjaudut. Jos luomasi sähköposti oli ansaitsija@gmail.com, käytä aliaksena sanaa “ansaitsija”.
Sivustot usein haluavat varmistuksen, että kirjautuja on ihminen, eikä automaattinen botti, joten saatat joutua klikkaamaan tiettyä kuvaa tai täyttämään tekstiä kenttään kuvasta. Useimmiten sivusto lähettää vahvistussähköpostin ilmoittamaan sähköpostiosoitteeseen. Tässä postissa on linkki, jota painamalla aktivoit tilisi. Tämän jälkeen voimme aloittaa.
Tehokkuusperiaate: käytä aina samaa aliasta ja salasanaa jokaisella sivustolla johon kirjaudut. Näin työn aloittaminen vie mahdollisimman vähän aikaa. Jos voit asettaa selaimen muistamaan salasanan, tee se. Älä käytä samaa salasanaa kuin mikä on sähköpostissasi. Sinulla on siis yksi alias/nikki “ansaitsija” ja kaksi salasanaa, toinen sähköpostiin ja toinen kaikille PTC sivustoille. Yksinkertainen on tehokasta.
Aseta kaikki sivustot kirjanmerkkeihin selaimeesi (boomarks). Tämän jälkeen sinulla on tässä selaimessa vain ja ainoastaan tähän PTC työhön liittyvät linkit kirjanmerkeissä. Näin ollen kirjanmerkkilista on päivittäinen savottasi – työlista.
Muista että monet toimijat netissä ovat epärehellisiä. Tämä on suurin riski, jonka ansaitsija kohtaa. Monet pettyvät kun eivät saakaan rahojaan työstään. Tästä syystä “kotiläksyt” on tehtävä ennekuin aloitetaan. Tässä oppaassa mainitut sivustot on kaikki raportoitu luotettaviksi, ja ne ovat maksaneet jäsenilleen tähän päivään mennessä. Muista kuitenkin, että muutoksen tahti netissä on kova. Kaikki voi muuttua. Aiheesta lisää myöhemmin.
(5) Aloittaminen
Kehitä päivittäinen rutiini. Avaa selain ja sen kirjanmerkkilista. Klikkaa auki kaikki PTC sivustot, joille olet kirjautunut. Loggaa sisään niihin kaikkin.
Kaikki PTC sivustot toimivat hieman eritavalla, ja aluksi on hyvä opetella jollakin helpolla sivustolla kuten BluClicks. Osio, jonka alla klikatavat mainokset ovat, löytyy yleensä tekstin “view ads”, “earning area”, “surf ads”, tai vastaavan alta. Nyt sinulla on kaikki sivustot auki selaimessasi, kukin omassa välilehdessään.
Aika aloittaa. Se on helppoa kuin letkajenkka kun on kunnon kahvat.

Referraalien hankkiminen
Kun olet sinut sivustojen kanssa ja olet kehittänyt tehokkaan rutiinin, voit alkaa arvioimaan, että kunka paljon tulet saamaan rahaa, ja mikä on siihen menevän ajan määrä. Tulos ei ole varmastikaan mikään unelmien täyttymys, vaikka työstäisit 20 sivustoa yhtäaikaa.
Referraalit ovat avain suurempiin tuloihin. Monet sivustot palkitsevat sinut uusien jäsenten tuomisesta. Monesti on mahdollista saada pieni korvaus jokaisesta klikkauksesta, jonka sinun referoimasi jäsen tekee. Tämä ei vaikuta heidän tuloihinsa, vaan tämä on ainaostaan sivuston tapa motivoida sinua auttamaan heitä klikkailijoiden hankinnassa. Korvaus vaihtelee sivustoittain. Joillain sivustoilla on myös referaattien yläraja määrätty.
Kuinka referoin käytännössä? Jokaisella sivustolla on sinulle oma henkilökohtainen referointilinkki (yleensä profiilissasi). Lähetä tämä ystävillesi tai muille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneet tienaamisesta PTC sivustoilla.
Varoituksen sana: Monet sivustot tarjoavat mahdollisuustta “vuokrata” referaatteja. Toisin sanoen maksat sivustolle siitä, että saat referaatteja, joiden klikkauksista saat osuuden. Mieti tarkkaan haluatko sijoittaa tähän. Muista, että nyrkkisääntö kuuluu: aidot ja rehelliset toimijat maksavat sinulle työstä, ei toisinpäin. Tällaiset “maksa meille että voimme maksaa sinulle”-tyyppiset kuviot pitäisi laittaa hälytyskellot soimaan. Monet PTC sivustot tarjoavat tätä palvelua. Se ei automaattisesti tarkoita, että sivusto olisi epärehellinen. Kannattaa kuitenkin muistaa, että tässä ideana oli palkkion saaminen työstä – ei sijoittaminen.
Rahojen kotiuttaminen
Ansaitun rahan vähimmäismäärä, joka vaaditaan maksupyynnön tekemiseen PTC sivustolla vaihtelee. Se voi olla jotain 1 USD ja 50 USD välillä. Sivusto on voinut jo kysyä sinulta PayPal tai AlertPay referenssisähköpostiosoitetta. Jos ei, niin he kysyvät sitä kun teet maksupyynnön.
Pyydä aina heti maksua, kun olet ansainnt vähimmäismäärän. Se on hyvä tapa testata sivuston luotettavuutta. Maksupyynnön käsittelyaika vaihtelee sivuston mukaan. Jotkut käsittelevät ne tunneissa, jotkut ainaostaan kerran kuussa tiettynä päivämääränä. Tämä on mainittu käyttöehdoissa.
Muista että sinun ei kannata tuhlata aikaa ja vaivaa sivustoon, joka ei maksa ajoissa, tai ei maksa ollenkaan. Ei kannata hyväksyä tekosyitä omistajanvaihdoksista jne.
Kun on aika kokeilla omia siipiä
Jos olet päässyt hommasta kärryille, sinulla on pian hyvä rutiini paikallaan, ja vakaat lisätulot. Kenties sinulla on jo referaatteja siellä ja täällä, ja tulosi nousevat hieman kuukausi kuukaudelta. Jossain vaiheessa on aika laajentaa tämän oppaan listan ulkopuolelle, ja kokeilla omia siipiään isossa maailmassa.

Vaaran merkit
- Mainostavatko mainokset PTC sivustoa itseään? Johtaako klikkaus sivuston foorumiin, jossa jäsenet kohkaavat, että kuinka paljon he ovat saaneet rahaa? Muista, että jos sivusto näyttää mainoksia, jotka eivät tule maksavalta mainostajalta, niin voi hyvin kysyä, että miten sivusto saa rahansa. Koitetaanko sinulle myydä parempaa jäsenyyttä? Vuokrareferaatteja? Jotain muuta, mikä vaatii, että sinä maksat heille, eikä toisinpäin???
- Maksut eivät tule ajallaan. Tai ollenkaan.

Earning quick and easy money on the Internet. Possible?
The Internet is full of fraud and empty promises for the greedy and the lazy. Endless landing pages (the term will be explained later) selling fantastic stories about easy money that is always available for anyone – no special skills or experience is needed! The poor customer usually ends up paying someone for nothing.
Is everything a scam? The answer is no. Only 99% is.
How do I know which is and which is not? Where should I start? Many questions. This manual will introduce you to earning money from something that is called Pay To Click (”PTC”). It is a very good place to start, because it requires no start capital nor special skills. Anyone can do it.
This manual is written to give you a good platform to start working to earn money – no capital needed. Additionally, you will learn about the many pitfalls that you must avoid in order to succeed. The pitfalls are many, and most people will fail, and their efforts come to nothing. What is "Buxing" / PTC (Paid To Click)?
PTC or Paid to Click refers to a form of advertising on the net. Advertisers pay for visibility to their advertisements on the net. This is often measured in clicks, meaning that internet users click on their advertisements and a single click has a certain price. Sometimes advertisers pay for just views of the advertisements, or number of users who fill in a questionnaire or sign up to a mailing list etc. However, this paper focuses on earning from Pay To Click (”PTC”).
What are the implications of this for the average user who is wondering whether it is possible to make money out of this? Well, signing up for Internet Sites that offer remuneration for clicking on ads (or filling out forms or other tasks) is sometimes referred to as "buxing". Remuneration varies from cents to fractions of cents per click or per view.
As always, it is difficult to assess the reliability of any partner on the internet - thus one must consider carefully what one does with personal information over the internet. The sites can be divided into two categories: (1) ”Bux” or ”Mini PTC” sites (remuneration in cents), and (2) ”Aurora” sites (remuneration in fractions of cents).
Now one may ask that what is the point of doing this if the remuneration is in cents or fractions of cents. The time used to log in and clicking ads is poorly paid for, if one thinks about this from a hourly wage point of view. Its certainly its true that one cannot get rich by doing PTC, but with the correct methods and effective routine one can generate a monthly side income. Additionally, if you get referrals working for you, your monthly earning potential may rise to hundreds of US dollars per month. However, getting there may take some time.
Generally speaking, Aurora sites are considered to be more reliable because they get better profits from the advertisements they show. Thus their finances are usually in better shape and they are in a better position to do profitable business and thus also pay their members. Many ”Bux” sites go scam after some time. Often it is just because of the inexperienced owners who do not know how to run a PTC service profitably and thus end up in a situation that they cannot pay at all.

How do I get the best possible result from this work?
Indeed, on the long run the way one works means virtually everything. As the remuneration gained is very small per click, the way to make it worthwhile is to work daily in an effective and rigorous manner. Thus the daily time used will be in minutes.
Here is a step-by-step guide.
(1) Dedicate a browser to this task
It is a very good idea to dedicate a web browser to this task. In other words, you use one browser to do this work and to nothing else. All other surfing etc you would do with another browser. This is necessary because of related to security and effectiveness. As you will be surfing many advertisement all the time on a variety of locations it is also a good idea to make sure your firewall and anti-virus software is on and updated. Together with a secure browser this will keep you protected.

(2) Create a new email account
You also need to create a new email account that is dedicated to this job. Gmail is highly recommended for this purpose.
Do not create an email address with your name in it, like john.smith@gmail.com. Instead, create an alias, for example cashgorilla@gmail.com. Be sure to change the ”Nick” in Gmail settings so that it shows ”cashgorilla” instead of your real name.
Create a notepad or a Word document on your desktop, and write this address and password to it. You will gather all the necessary information you need regarding your PTC project to this same pad.
(3) Create PayPal and AlertPay accounts
To get paid you need to have PayPal and AlertPay accounts. Some sites accept both, some only PayPal or AlertPay.
These are basically services that allow payments and money transfers made over the internet. One can think of them as normal bank accounts without numbers – the reference is the email address connected to the account.
Having a normal account with these is free of charge. To the accounts you open in these services you will connect the Gmail address you created in step 2. This address you will give to the PTC sites as your payment references – thus the site can pay to your account at PayPal or AlertPay. The reference address is sometimes given at registration or sometimes when you make a payment request to the PTC site.
You can pay in many internet shops and services directly via PayPal, if you have money on the account. AlertPay is not so common to this date, but nevertheless you can transfer money from both services to your regular bank account. More of that later.
(4) Sign up with PTC sites
Now its time to start signing up.
The sites are all different, and their registration forms vary. Lets go to the first site:
Fill in the registration form (usually under ”register” or ”join”). Often sites do not ask for personal information, such as a name or date of birth. If they do ask (like BluClicks does), think carefully about giving your real personal information on the internet. There is a risk of identity theft and so on. Even if a site has been reported as reliable, one cannot have first hand information on a site whose owners you do not know personally. And even if you did, how good is their data security against hackers?
Thus, you should be very careful on these things. Often the sites ask for a nick or an alias. Use the same ever time. If your email was cashgorilla@gmail.com, use cashgorilla.
The sites will usually want guarantees that you who registers is a human, not an automatic bot. You may need to click on a picture or write some letters shown in a picture. The site will usually send a confirmation email to the email address you gave when you registered. The email contains a link that you need to press to activate your account. After this you are good to go.

The principle of effectiveness: always use the same alias and password on all sites so that logging in is as fast as possible. If you can get your internet browser to remember your password on these sites for automatic login, do this. It saves a lot of time. However, do not use the same password you have in the email account you created! You should have one alias/nick (for example, “cashgorilla”) and two passwords: one for the email and another for all the PTC sites you sign up with. Simplicity is effectiveness.
Bookmark all the sites you register in. Your bookmarks on this dedicated browser now should contain the PTC sites you have signed up with. Thus your bookmarks are your daily work list.
Remember that many actors on the net are more or less dishonest. This is maybe the biggest pitfall in the business, and many people get disappointed because of this. Doing one's homework is essential here – the sites mentioned in the list in this manual have been reported as reliable, and they are paying their members to this date. However, keep in mind that everything can change. There is no way you can know how business is going for the owners of these sites. This subject is discussed in more detail later under “Striking out on your own”.
(5) Getting to work
Create a daily routine. Open your browser and open all of the PTC sites you have signed up with from your bookmark list. Log in.
All PTC sites work a bit differently, and it is a good idea to practice with a simple site such as BluClicks. Usually the site has a section in which there is a list of advertisements one can click to get paid. This may be under “view ads”, “earning area”, “surf ads”, and so on, depending on the site. Now you should have all the sites on your browser, each in its own tab. On each site you have the advertisement viewing page open.
Time to start. Its easy as one-two-three.
- Take the first site on the first tab and click on the first ad on the list. It is usually requited that you “view” the ad for 30 seconds to get paid. Usually this opens a new tab where the advertisement will be loaded, and a frame from the PTC site appears to the top part of the advertisement page. Often this frame has a countdown – it counts the seconds how much longer you need to “view” the ad (or actually have it open in the tab). After the countdown is finished, your account is credited with the money. After that, you can click another ad on this same site. Check also initially, that your account has been credited (usually under “my account”, “my stats” etc.).
- Leave the countdown of the first ad to tick away and proceed quickly to the second PTC site you have open. Click an ad there, and leave it to count down. Proceed to the third.
- Go through all the sites in the same manner. When you reach the last one, go back to the first one, and close the ad that has now been open for over 30 secs and you have been credited. Open a new one. Repeat the cycle with all sites until there are no available advertisements left. There is always a limited amount of ads you can click – it depends on how many advertisers the site has. When you are finished, you can check the balances of your accounts in the sites to see how much money you have made that day.
- Repeat the same routine the next day. And the day after that. The sites will usually allow you to click even the same ads again the next day. The money you can make in one day may seem very small, even if you work with many sites at the same time. However, getting the routine right and working systemically, it is possible to earn maybe 50 US dollars a month by working a few minutes per day. The bigger incomes lie in getting referrals. This is explained next.
A rule of thumb for browsing advertisements: Do not get interested in the advertisement, whatever is on offer! Just open the ads and close them after your account has been credited. Remember to work effectively and safely.
Getting referrals
After you are familiar with the sites and you have practiced so that you can browse through all available ads quickly in a few minutes, you can start to gauge what your monthly income will be. It will not be anything fantastic, even if you have signed up with 20 sites.
The key to bigger incomes is in getting referrals. With many sites its possible to earn a reward for the clicks made by members who have joined with your referral. If you can invite people to the sites who become members and start clicking ads, you get a share for every click as well. This will not affect the incomes of the invitees (or referrals, as they are called in the business) – you just get extra income for the members you have brought in. The amount of compensation varies with different sites. There might be an upper limit how many referrals you can bring in and earn from. Many sites also require that you yourself stay active and keep on clicking even if you have a sustained income from the clicks of your referrals.
How does this work in practice? You will find your personal referral link at each site, it is usually under your profile, or some area (can be called “promotion”, for example). Send this link to your friends and other people that are interested in starting to earn money with PTC. You can also set up banners to your website, if you have one. The sites often provide with a ready piece of code you can add to your website or blog. You can also ask the site's support for help if you need that.
A word of warning: Many sites offer rented referrals. This means that you have to pay the PTC site to rent referrals that will click on the ads and provide you with an increased income. Consider carefully if you want to do this. Remember that the rule of thumb is that genuine actors pay you for your services, not the other way around. One should always see critically any schemes like “pay us so we can pay you”. Despite of the question marks around rented referrals, many sites offer this service, or actually try to sell this to you. It does not mean that there is something wrong, but one stays safest by sticking to the principle of getting paid for work, and not paying a penny to someone else.
Getting paid
The limit of money one has to earn before a payout can be requested varies by the site. This can be from 1 USD to 50 USD. The site may have already asked you for your PayPal or AlertPay reference email address. If not so, they will ask you for it when you request a payment to be made.
It is a good idea to request payment immediately when your earnings have reached the cash-out limit. You always want to test the reliability of the site before putting any more effort and time working for them. The time to process payment requests varies between sites. Some sites process them within hours, some only on a certain date once a month. Be sure to find out this information on the site.
Do not accept any excuses for not paying in time, or not paying at all. You may be told that the owner has changed or something similar by a site that has gone scam. There is no excuse for not paying for work done and there is no point is continuing to work for a site that is not paying.
Striking out on your own
Soon you will have a good routine for going through the ads on a daily basis for a steady income. Perhaps you have started to accumulate a referral here and there, and your income goes up a bit every month. At some point it is time to start thinking about “striking out on your own” - to expand beyond the list of reliable sites mentioned in this guide.
There are many “bux” sites out there that at least seemingly offer fast earnings. However, remember that nothing is 100% sure on the internet and everything changes over time. The risk of falling victim to a scam is great if you do not do your homework.
When you are considering joining up with a new site, always (repeat, ALWAYS), check first with PTC Investigations. They assess reliability of PTC sites and have a fraud list.

Signs of danger
- Do the advertisements you click point to pages that advertise the site itself – for example threads in the site's own forum where people have posted proofs of having gotten paid by the site. If the site is showing pages that do not come from paying advertisers, one may wonder what is the source of their income. Do they push upgrades, rental referrals or other things that require you to pay them? Remember, the idea is that they pay you, not the other way around!
